Kinshasa takes the circular medallion motifs found in West African textile traditions and scales them up for wall application — each sunburst spans roughly 18 inches with radiating geometric rays in deep red, burnt gold, and charcoal. The white ground keeps the pattern from overwhelming smaller rooms while the bold colour palette ensures it holds its own in high-ceiling spaces. Works as a powder room statement (small space, big pattern is always a winning move), behind a dining banquette in a King West condo, or on the back wall of a Kensington Market loft where you want the graphic punch without four-wall commitment. The pattern has enough movement to feel energetic but enough symmetry to read orderly — good for spaces where you entertain but also need to live day-to-day. Made in Canada at our own print studio on 24-inch panels.
