I am a lifelong artist whose creative path has moved through printmaking, drawing, watercolour, creative writing, and silversmithing. In 2023, I began formally expanding my skills in surface pattern design, dedicating myself to refining both my artistic process and technical craft.
My work is rooted in hand-drawn motifs inspired by historical Asian and European illustration traditions, a natural reflection of my own mixed heritage. By weaving these influences together, I create designs defined by what I call a Modern Heirloom sensibility: pieces that balance timeless character with a contemporary, collected feel.
Based in Ladner, BC, just outside Vancouver, I value the opportunity to collaborate with local companies who share an appreciation for craftsmanship and narrative-driven pattern work. My goal is to create wallpapers that bring warmth, artistry, and a sense of history into the spaces they inhabit.
