I’m Sabina — watercolour artist, surface designer, and the heart (and hands) behind Sabina Maria Design . I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty of nature — wildflowers in bloom, winding garden paths, the soft shapes and subtle colours of each petal and leaf. If you’re anything like me, you find comfort in those small, beautiful moments that make a space feel like home.
That’s where my work begins: with a paintbrush, a love for nature, and the desire to create something meaningful. Each design in this collection started as a hand-painted illustration, created in my home studio in Alberta, then thoughtfully brought to life right here in Canada.

Collaborating with Wallpaper Online Canada has been such a special part of this journey. I’m proud to say that with this partnership, every wallpaper is both Canadian-designed and Canadian-manufactured — supporting local makers and a more mindful way of decorating. Together, we’ve created a collection of nature-inspired wallpapers — trailing florals, vintage botanicals, and soft, timeless prints — that celebrate craftsmanship, connection, and homegrown creativity.
