Watercolour Protea captures that moment when pigment hits wet paper and the edges blur just enough. Three or four oversized blooms drift across the wall, rendered in dusty purple petals with sage-toned leaves that bleed softly into the off-white ground. The hand-painted quality is intentional — you can see where the brush loaded with too much water, where the colour pooled and dried darker. Scale is generous enough to work as a single feature wall without feeling sparse. Particularly strong in north-facing rooms where the cooler light complements the purple undertones, or in a powder room where the oversized florals create intimacy without overwhelming the small space.
