Same install approach as Traditional Smooth, with one key difference: overlap murals by 1" at each panel seam instead of butting edge-to-edge. Peel the backing panel-by-panel and press onto a clean, primed wall, smoothing from top-centre outward. Repositionable during install, so you can lift and re-align if a panel drifts.

It comes from Yvonne Hart, a watercolour artist in Southern Ontario known for patterns that blend painterly technique with English-country charm. This stripe is one of her simpler designs, built around the textured linen grounds she often uses. It sits within our Canadian Artists collection, is printed to order in Vancouver, and earns Yvonne a royalty on every order.
The ground is a warm off-white with a visible linen weave. The narrow paired stripes are true black, and the wider central band is made of fine beige and soft taupe lines. Daylight keeps the off-white clean; in cooler winter light it can look a shade greyer, while warm evening lamps bring out the beige band.
The pattern is widely spaced: slim black pinstripes and one broader beige band, with generous plain linen in between. That makes it calm and graphic rather than busy. The light ground keeps rooms open, and the black lines give a clear vertical lift that can make a standard ceiling feel a little taller.
It is a strong fit for a living room with mid-century or modern furniture – the black lines echo dark lamp bases and furniture legs, and the beige band ties in with wood and leather. It also suits a home office or hallway. Because it is neutral, it pairs easily with terracotta, rust or deep green accent walls below a chair rail.
