Customizing your wallpaper can start with any one of our designs. Perhaps you love one design style, but want a different colour? Or perhaps you want the design scaled down or enlarged? Give us a starting point, then we can take it from there.
2. Pick a colour
We can modify all or part of an image to give you the colour that works best for you. Please note that we cannot create a perfect match to Pantone or Paint Swatches.
3. Add a texture overlay
Want to jazz up your design even further? Add a texture overlay to match your personality and give it that extra little pizzazz!
4. Ready? Send us the info!
Customization costs no extra, and comes with no obligation to buy. Feel free to request different options, and our team will get back to you as quickly as possible with some mockups. We’ll also help you buy the exact amount of wallpaper you need, so you’re not buying more than you actually need.
Frequently Asked Questions about Our Custom Wallpaper
I don't like your existing designs. Can I upload my own, or tell you about my idea?
Of course you can! Designing wallpaper is a fun process that should be all about making the perfect design for you. Send us your inspiration, your ideas, and any mood boards you’ve come up with, and let us do the rest!
Can you match a Paint Swatch or Pantone colour?
Unfortunately, it is exceedingly difficult to match paint swatches exactly. Most paint companies have very specific calibrations to ensure the paint comes out exactly the same colour as a swatch. However, in wallpaper printing, many factors can mean the wallpaper is slightly different from the paint swatch. It’s generally best to order your wallpaper first, or order a sample at least, before painting.
Can I see a preview of my custom design before I commit to ordering?
Absolutely. Once you send us an idea of what you’re after, we will create a mockup and send it right back to you so you can get an idea of how it’ll look. If you want to try a shade lighter, or a shade darker, just let us know and we’ll make the adjustment. You won’t commit to anything until you’re in love with your design and know exactly what to expect! We can’t wait to see how your room turns out!
What if I'm not completely satisfied with my custom design after ordering?
We stand behind our work, and we will always do the right thing by you. That could mean replacements, reprints, or refunds. In the interests of sustainability, however, it’s much better to get things right first time around. We offer unlimited revision options during the design phase, and also offer the option to receive printed samples so you know exactly what you’ll be getting before we manufacture a full print run. Contact our customer service team—we’ll solve any concerns and get you the result you’re thrilled about.
How long does it take to produce and receive my custom order?
Once a design is finalized, production typically takes 4–7 business days, depending on complexity and current order volume. Shipping time is additional. We manufacture all orders in Vancouver, BC, so shipping to the West Coast is always quicker than the East Coast. If you’re on a tight timeline, let us know – we can provide rush options that’ll get your order top of the queue and shipped out quickly. We’re here to help make your custom creation happen on a schedule that works for you.
Can I order a sample of my design before placing a full order?
Absolutely! Wallpaper samples are a great way to ensure the colours and designs you’ve chosen are exactly right for the room you imagined them in. You can have your design (or multiple designs) printed out on any of our materials and finishes, so you know exactly how it will look and feel, and how it changes under different lighting, times of day, and moods. Samples are $6 each, and are a full 24″ x 24″ size so you get a real feel for how they will look.
