Why it exists

A home for Canadian artists’ work, on real walls

We started the Canadian Artist Program because some of the best pattern work in the country deserves to live somewhere bigger than a screen or a print.

It’s a small, curated collection — artists we’ve met, whose work we love, printed as wallpaper and murals in our Vancouver studio. We treat every design the way you’d want it treated: printed to order, checked by hand and sent to people who chose it because it’s yours.

There’s nothing to pay to join and no inventory to manage. You keep the rights to your work and earn a share of every sale. Most importantly, your name stays on it.

How it works

You make the art. We look after everything it takes to get it onto a wall.

We want you spending your time on your work, not on order emails. So we take on the production, the customers and the admin, and keep you in the loop on all of it.

Your artist page
Your own collection in our Canadian Artists directory, with your bio, your photo and your work together in one place.

Customer care
Questions, sample requests, sizing and returns all come to us. You won’t ever have to handle a support ticket.

Room previews
We create room previews for each design, so buyers can picture it on their own wall.
Sharing your work

Getting started

From first hello to your first design

It’s a short, personal process, and most artists have their first design listed within a week of saying yes.

  1. Introduce yourself

Use the form below to share a link to your portfolio and a few words about what you make. We look at every submission ourselves and will get back to you within a few business days.

  2. Agree the details

If it feels like a fit on both sides, we’ll send you a sign-up link. You’ll read the artist agreement, confirm your details, add your photo and bio, and choose your collection name.

  3. Share your first designs

You’ll land in your artist portal, where you upload your first few designs with a title and a short description. We take it from there.

  4. See your work on walls

We list your designs, create the room previews and start sharing your work. When something sells, you’ll see it in your portal the same day.

Share your work with us

Tell us a little about what you make and where we can see it. There’s no need to send files yet — a link is all we need to start.

We read every submission ourselves. If it feels like a fit, we’ll be in touch within a few business days to talk it through.

Common questions

The details

Who is eligible?

Canadian artists and designers — professional, emerging or independent. Your work needs to be original and yours to license. We’re building a curated roster rather than a marketplace, so we look at each submission individually.

Does it cost anything?

No. There’s no fee to apply, no listing fees and no annual dues. We only earn when you do.

How does the 20% commission work?

You receive 20% of the pre-tax revenue on every sale of any of your designs. Sales appear in your artist portal as they happen, and payouts are made by e-transfer on our regular schedule.

Do I keep the rights to my work?

Yes. You keep full ownership of your artwork. Joining grants us a non-exclusive licence to print and sell your designs as wallpaper on our site; it doesn’t stop you selling the same work elsewhere or in other formats.

Can I remove a design later?

Yes. You can retire any design from your portal at any time. Existing orders are still honoured, but the design won’t be shown to new buyers.

What file format should I supply?

We accept JPG, PNG, TIFF and Photoshop (PSD) files up to 250MB. As a rule of thumb, aim for at least 150 DPI at the largest wall size you’d expect someone to buy. We’ll guide you on the specifics once you’re on board, and can help scale or clean up files if needed.

Who handles printing and customer service?

We do, entirely. Every roll is printed to order in our Vancouver studio, then packed and shipped by our team. All customer conversations — sample requests, refunds, sizing questions — come to us.

How will I know how my designs are doing?

Your artist portal shows sales, revenue and commission in real time, filterable by date range. You’ll also see which designs are being sampled and which are getting attention on the site.
