Wallpaper Online Canada is a boutique studio. Not a warehouse, not a marketplace — a small team on Burrard Street that prints every roll to order and answers every email ourselves.
It started with Dillon Warren, who spent six years building a wallpaper studio from nothing in South Africa and learning every step of the trade, from the ink to the install. In 2022 he met Ben Monkhouse, a Vancouver entrepreneur who had watched Canadians struggle to buy wallpaper: imports with long lead times, paste-only papers that cost renters their deposits, and patterns designed for somebody else’s living room.
They spent the months that followed asking one question: what would a Canadian wallpaper studio look like if it were built for the people actually buying from it? In May 2023 they opened the doors on the answer — local, honest, printed to order, with materials a renter and a homeowner could both use without compromise.
We’ve stayed small on purpose. The person who prints your wallpaper works a few steps from the person who packs it, and whoever answers your question has held the material in their own hands. Three years on, that’s still the whole point.

We’re a small crew, and that’s all it takes to print, pack and ship your walls from our Vancouver studio. Every roll passes through our hands, not a third party’s. If you email us, one of us reads it — usually the same day.
Your wallpaper doesn’t exist until you order it.
Every roll is printed to your exact dimensions with GreenGuard Gold low-VOC inks, at our Vancouver studio. Nothing is pre-printed and warehoused, and there’s no back stock. If you order it Tuesday, it goes on a roll Tuesday.
Smooth Matte Peel & Stick
Renter-friendly and removable, with an adhesive that comes away from paint and drywall. Great for feature walls, first-time DIY and kids’ rooms.
Canvas Textured Peel & Stick
A subtle woven surface that adds depth without the commitment of traditional paper. The same removable adhesive as Smooth Matte.
Traditional Non-woven
Paste the wall, built to last 15+ years. The classic choice for professional installers, and a finish that stays put through everything a Canadian winter throws at it.

Everything you order is printed, cut, packed and shipped from our studio on Burrard Street. If you’re local and want to see and feel all three materials before you commit, come by — we’ll set them out for you on our sample wall.
We ship across Canada from here. Standard delivery is 5 to 7 business days.

You can feel the materials before you order with free swatches, order a printed sample of a specific design ($8), or go straight to a full order. Whatever fits how you buy.

Being boutique isn’t a size we’re waiting to grow out of. It’s how we want to work, and it shapes every decision we make.
Made here, made to order.
Every design we sell is printed in our Vancouver studio, on the day it’s ordered, to the size of your wall. We don’t drop-ship from overseas or hold warehouses of stock, so nothing is printed that nobody asked for — and you’re never sold a leftover.
Small on purpose.
A small team means fewer hand-offs and more care. The people who print your order also check it, pack it and answer your questions about it. Our Canadian artists aren’t a content feed either — they’re people we know, paid for work they’re proud of.
Honest about materials.
We’ll tell you which material suits which wall, why peel and stick can struggle on certain paints, and where traditional non-woven is genuinely the better choice — even if it talks you out of the easier sale. Two of our three materials come off cleanly, because your walls should be allowed to change with you.
