Made by us. In Vancouver. For your walls.
Wallpaper Online Canada is a real studio, on a real street, with real people printing wallpaper the day you order it. Not a warehouse. Not a drop-shipper. Not a middleman.
How we started.
Dillon Warren spent six years building a wallpaper studio in South Africa, learning every step of the trade from ink to install.
In 2023 he met Ben Monkhouse, a Vancouver-based entrepreneur who had watched Canadian wallpaper buyers get stuck with the same three options - long-lead-time imports, paste-only formats that ruined rental deposits, and generic patterns designed for someone else's living room.
They agreed to build a Canadian studio the way they would have wanted one built for themselves: local, honest, made to order, with materials chosen so a renter and a homeowner could both actually use them.
Two years in, that's still exactly what we are - a small print operation on Burrard Street, making wallpaper for people who care where it comes from.
Wallpaper Online is conceptualized over long conversations about what a boutique Canadian wallpaper studio could actually look like.
Building and preparing to launch - press installed, inks sourced, first designs going onto the wall for test prints.
Launch. Our very first order was Green Olive Watercolour. Thanks, Deirdre - we still think of you every time we run that print.
Completed our first restaurant install - proof that our wallpaper could hold its own in a commercial space, not just a home.
Added new materials to the lineup, giving customers a real choice between renter-friendly peel-and-stick and forever-install traditional non-woven.
Completed our first movie set - our wallpaper made it onto the screen.
Launched the Canadian Artists collection - original designs by real Canadians making real art.
Launched the trade program - a dedicated portal, discounts, and support for interior designers building rooms for their own clients.
IDS Toronto - our first big east-coast show. And a heck of a snowstorm - anyone else get stuck in that?!
Loving doing what we do best - printing, packing, and sending your walls out into the world from a small studio on Burrard Street.
Meet the team.
We're a small crew - and that's all it takes to print, pack, and ship your walls from our Vancouver studio. Every roll passes through our hands, not a third party's. If you email us, one of us reads it. Same day, usually.
Your wallpaper doesn't exist until you order it.
Every roll is printed to your exact dimensions on GreenGuard Gold low-VOC inks, at our Vancouver studio, in 24-inch panels. Nothing is pre-printed and warehoused. There's no back stock. If you order it Tuesday, it goes on a roll Tuesday.
Peel & Stick Smooth Matte
Renter-friendly, removable, low-tack adhesive that doesn't damage paint or drywall. Great for feature walls, first-time DIY, kids' rooms.
Peel & Stick Canvas Texture
A subtle woven surface that adds depth without the commitment of traditional paper. Same removable adhesive as the smooth matte.
Traditional Non-Woven
The long-term option. Paste-the-wall, pigment-locked, lasts 15+ years. Best installed by a pro for a finish that stays put through everything Canadian winters throw at it.
2515 Burrard Street, Vancouver.
Everything you order is printed, cut, packed, and mailed from a small studio on Burrard Street, in Vancouver. If you're local and want to see and feel all three substrates before you commit, book a sample appointment and we'll set them out for you on our sample wall.
We ship across Canada from here, usually 3-5 business days from print to your door.
We acknowledge that we're operating on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̝əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̩íl̩witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Renters. Homeowners. Designers. Restaurateurs. Anyone who wants their walls to say something.
We spend as much time helping a first-time DIYer size up a bathroom feature wall as we do quoting a designer on a hotel lobby.
The Canadian artist range - Amy Emma, Jenica Goertz, Sabina Maria, Stephanie Dennison, Tara Ritchie, and growing - means every design in our custom library was made by someone we've met, in a country most of our customers can name.
You can see and feel the material before you order (order our free swatches), pick a small sample of a specific design ($8), or go straight to a full order. Whatever fits how you buy.
Three things we stand behind.
Made here, not imported.
Every design we sell is printed in our Vancouver studio. No drop-ship from China, no US import warehouses, no third party who's never held the material you're getting.
Reversible by default.
Two of our three substrates come off cleanly. Wallpaper shouldn't be a 20-year commitment - it should be allowed to evolve with your taste, your kids' taste, and how a room ends up getting used.
Honest about materials.
We'll tell you which substrate suits which wall, why peel-and-stick can fail on certain paint types, and where traditional non-woven is genuinely the better choice - even if it means talking you out of the easier option.
Come meet the material.
The best way to know if we're right for you is to hold the wallpaper in your hand. Free swatches to your door, or drop by the studio.
