Loose watercolour peonies and roses cluster in warm peach and ivory, their centres touched with soft brown, drifting across a muted grey ground threaded with green stems and leaves. The 53 cm pattern repeat lets each bouquet read clearly rather than blurring into texture, giving the wall a hand-painted, gathered-flowers feel. The warm undertone in the grey keeps the palette soft rather than cool, suiting a bedroom wall behind the bed, a living room that gets gentle daylight, or a dining area where a quieter backdrop is welcome.
The design is built from loose, watercolour-style peonies and roses, painted in soft peach and ivory with touches of deep brown at their centres. Green stems and leaves wind between the blooms, giving the clusters a gathered, almost hand-painted quality rather than a stiff, formal botanical layout.
The background is a warm, soft grey, with blooms in peach and ivory and leaves in muted green. Because the grey leans warm rather than cool, it holds its tone well in rooms that get limited daylight, where cooler greys can start to look flat or a little dull by comparison.
With a 53 cm pattern repeat, the bouquets are sized to stay legible rather than disappearing into texture. On a full wall several repeats are visible at once, so the blooms read as a clear, bold motif rather than a busy all-over print, especially across a longer stretch of wall.
Rather than trying to match every soft furnishing to the whole palette, pull out a single colour from the design, such as the peach or the warm grey, and repeat it in cushions, a throw or curtains. It ties the room together more convincingly than attempting to coordinate every tone.
Its soft, warm palette and gathered-bouquet feel work well in bedrooms, particularly behind a bed head where the edges of the pattern stay interesting even with the centre hidden. It also suits living rooms and dining areas that benefit from a calmer, romantic backdrop rather than a stark one.
Available in Smooth Matte Peel & Stick, Canvas Textured Peel & Stick and Traditional Smooth (glue required). For bathrooms and humid rooms choose a peel and stick finish; Traditional is not suited to them.
