First Shoots Gouache takes the gestural quality of watercolour brushstrokes and translates them into vertical stripes that feel more like painted plaster than wallpaper. Each stripe varies slightly in width and opacity — teal bleeding into forest green, cream washing over sage — so the wall reads handmade rather than mechanical. The scale sits between bold and subtle, strong enough for a feature wall but quiet enough to live with daily. Works well in a home office where you want visual interest behind a desk, a powder room where the narrow width emphasizes the vertical strokes, or as the headboard wall in a primary bedroom paired with linen bedding and brass fixtures.
