Vertical Timber takes reclaimed cedar boards and scales them up to wall-mural proportions — each plank runs floor to ceiling without breaks or horizontal seams. The wood grain reads authentic because it’s photographed from actual weathered boards, with honey-brown base tones, darker knots, and subtle char marks along the plank edges where the original lumber showed age. The vertical orientation makes standard-height rooms read taller, which works particularly well in Toronto semis and Montreal walk-ups where ceiling height is precious. Strong choice for a home office accent wall, behind a dining banquette where you want warmth without pattern, or as the long wall in a basement family room where you’re bringing warmth to a space that sees little natural light.
