Areia Tile channels the azulejo tradition of Portuguese ceramic work — geometric squares with quatrefoil medallions at the centre of each tile, rendered in navy blue against a warm cream ground with beige detail lines. The pattern reads as individual tiles but installs as continuous wallpaper, giving you the visual weight of ceramic without the grout lines or installation complexity. Each square measures roughly four inches, a traditional scale that works in both small powder rooms and larger kitchen applications. Particularly strong as wainscoting in a Montreal walk-up hallway, a backsplash accent in a Toronto semi-detached galley kitchen, or covering all four walls of a compact powder room where the busy pattern feels intentional rather than overwhelming. The navy tone has enough grey undertones to pair with both warm oak and cool stainless fixtures. Made in Canada at our own print studio on 24-inch panels.
