Purple Mona captures the loose, wet-brush technique of botanical watercolours — peonies rendered in deep purple centres with lavender outer petals, cream highlights catching the light where the paint would pool. The flowers are scaled large enough to read from across a room but soft enough in execution that they never feel heavy on the wall.
