The ground is a deep navy, with foliage picked out in sage green and cream, and the birds and florals rendered in warm mustard. Navy recedes into a room rather than advancing, which keeps a large pattern from feeling heavy, while the mustard reads warm under lamplight and pairs easily with wood tones or brass fittings nearby.
The motif is large scale, so only a few repeats are needed to fill a typical wall and the birds and branches stay clearly legible from across a room rather than blurring into texture. This makes it a strong choice for a single feature wall rather than a surface you'd want wrapped around a small space on every side.
The navy ground does read dark, but the mustard and cream detailing lift it rather than letting it sit flat, so the wall still has depth and movement under room lighting. It works best as a feature wall with a light source nearby, such as a lamp or window, rather than tucked into the darkest corner of a room.
The branches and leaf stems run mostly vertically through the design, and vertical lines in a pattern tend to pull the eye upward, which can make a standard ceiling feel a little taller. Horizontal elements do the opposite by widening a wall, so this design leans toward making a room feel more upright than squat.
